Yaaaaaay!! |
I have been horribly neglecting this blog lately (too many beach days, probably!) and will post soon but had to share my exciting new belonging--I just picked it up about 20 minutes ago after the hardware store called me to let me know my order had come in!!
I can't wait to get started on canned soup stocks, beans, and tomatoes, tomatoes, tomatoes...
Yay!!! I bought a water bath canner this weekend, so whenever I get to PEI, we can have a little canning party!! :)
ReplyDeleteSo glad you finally got one!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I was so happy to get my pressure canner for Christmas. Chicken stock was the first thing I canned in it. So happy to have it - I'm sure you'll enjoy yours.
ReplyDeleteBecky I have chicken stock in the slow cooker to simmer overnight!! I'm hoping to get 2L from it... not a very big canner load, but a start nonetheless. I can't wait to dive into using it!
DeleteOh I just love my pressure canner! I hope you love yours too!!!!! Canning chicken stock is such a life saver...no more taking up all that space in your freezer. I just know you will love it!!! Congratulations on your new wonderful toy!
ReplyDeleteTamatha I am SO excited about it. If you ever have any wise words of advice on using it or what recipes are awesome, please let me know! I'm all ears. :) (Or eyes, as in reading.)
